HOW TO MAKE MATCHA LATTE

Matcha Latte (Hot/Iced)

Ingredients

  • 180ml (¾ cup) of your choice of milk (Oat milk, Soy milk, Lactose-free milk)
  • 1tsp (3g) of WAKABA’s premium organic matcha powder
  • 50ml of hot water (heated at 70 degrees)

 Directions

  1. Add your choice of milk (plant-based or animal milk) to a small pot over medium heat. Bring to a bare simmer. (optional) For iced matcha latte, place ice cubes into a long glass and pour in 180ml of your choice of milk. 

  2. Spoon and place 1tsp (3g) of premium organic matcha powder in a heat resistant cup.

  3. Add 30ml of water to whisk to draw a circle, and then add another 30ml of water to whisk. If you want to learn the traditional Japanese method to whisk matcha, click here.

  4. Add your milk to the tipping cup slightly to help create creamy foam on top. (optional) For iced matcha latte pour the matcha slowly onto the milk, aiming to pour matcha onto the ice cubes.
