Shipping and Payment Policy

1. Shipping area

We currently deliver exclusively to delivery addresses within Germany.

Orders for delivery outside Germany cannot currently be placed through our online store. For individual enquiries regarding international delivery, please contact us at info@matcha-wakaba.com.

2. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are shown separately in the relevant offer or during the checkout process.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all shipping costs shown to business customers are net amounts and are subject to the applicable statutory value-added tax.

The amount of the shipping costs may depend in particular on:

• the order value;

• the weight and volume of the shipment;

• the number of parcels or pallets;

• the selected shipping method;

• the delivery address;

• any special delivery services required.

Individual shipping charges may apply to freight deliveries, pallet deliveries or other special shipments. These costs will be communicated to the customer before the contract is concluded.

3. Delivery times

Unless a different delivery time is stated in the relevant offer, product description or order confirmation, delivery within Germany will generally take place within 5 to 7 business days.

The delivery period begins:

• for advance payment orders, after the full payment has been received in our bank account;

• for other payment methods, after the contract has been concluded or after we have issued the order confirmation;

• for products requiring individual approval, only after all required information and approvals have been received.

Business days are Monday to Friday.

Public holidays at the place of dispatch or delivery are not included when calculating the delivery period.

Orders are generally not processed or delivered on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, unless the appointed shipping provider offers a different service.

4. Products with different delivery times

Where an order includes products with different delivery times, we will generally ship the order in one combined shipment.

In this case, the delivery time for the entire order will be determined by the product with the longest delivery time.

A partial delivery may be made where:

• this has been expressly agreed;

• it is reasonable for the customer; or

• a combined delivery would result in an unreasonable delay.

Additional shipping costs for a partial delivery initiated by us will only be charged to the customer where this has been expressly agreed in advance.

5. Delivery delays and product availability

All delivery time information is subject to sufficient product availability.

If a significant delay occurs due to unexpected product shortages, delayed supplies from our suppliers, transport disruption or another event beyond our reasonable control, we will inform the customer within a reasonable period.

The provisions regarding delivery obstacles and force majeure contained in our Terms and Conditions remain unaffected.

6. Acceptance of delivery

The customer must ensure that the delivery can be accepted at the stated delivery address during normal delivery hours.

When placing an order, the customer must provide complete and accurate information, including:

• company name;

• name of the contact person;

• complete delivery address;

• floor, building section or goods-receiving information, where applicable;

• telephone number for delivery-related enquiries.

Additional costs caused by an incorrect delivery address, refusal to accept the delivery or an unsuccessful delivery attempt attributable to the customer may be charged to the customer.

7. Available payment methods

Depending on the customer account, order value, availability and the options displayed during checkout, the following payment methods may be offered:

• credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express;

• Apple Pay;

• Google Pay;

• Shop Pay;

• Klarna;

• Amazon Pay;

• SEPA direct debit;

• advance payment by bank transfer, where available.

Only the payment methods actually displayed or offered during the relevant checkout process, in an individual offer or on the invoice are available for the respective order.

The customer is not entitled to use any particular payment method.

8. Advance payment by bank transfer

Where advance payment has been agreed, our bank details and the required payment information will be provided after the order has been placed or together with the order confirmation.

Please include the order or invoice number as the payment reference.

Unless otherwise agreed, order processing and the delivery period will begin only after the full invoice amount has been received.

9. Credit card and digital wallet payments

Payments made by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay are processed through the relevant payment service provider.

The payment method will be charged in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective payment service provider.

10. Klarna, Amazon Pay and SEPA direct debit

Klarna, Amazon Pay and SEPA direct debit are only available where the respective payment method is displayed during checkout and has been approved for the relevant order.

The respective payment service provider may carry out additional identity, credit or risk assessments.

The terms and privacy information of the relevant payment service provider also apply.

11. Individual payment terms for B2B customers

Different payment terms may be agreed for approved business customers, including:

• payment by invoice;

• individual payment periods;

• deposits;

• instalment payments;

• credit limits.

Different payment terms apply only where they have been expressly confirmed in an offer, order confirmation, invoice or other agreement.
